Betty’s Plumbing, Heating, Air-Conditioning, & Refrigeration is a family-owned-and-operated business, which began in 1970. It was originally a home-based business started by founder Wayman Parks. The name "Betty" came to him on the spur of the moment when he applied for his business license. He was certain it would be a name that people would easily remember and would please his wife. He was right. His wife, Betty Parks, is now President. People still call us today curious to see if there really is a Betty.
Betty’s two sons, Glenn and Wayne, currently manage the company. Both are licensed Master Plumbers, Master Gas Fitters, Master Mechanical, and Master Electricians, as well as Class A Contractors. Glenn Parks is the General Manager, and Wayne Parks is the company’s Operations Manager.
Carson Conway came to Betty’s in 1976. He is also a licensed Master Plumber, Master Gas Fitter, and Master Mechanical. Mr. Conway is the Operations Manager of the Plumbing Division.
